Senior Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer based in Brazil.

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a client-facing engineering team and take shared ownership of building, improving, and delivering production software.
• You will work closely with another senior engineer while collaborating directly with the client on a daily basis.
• The role combines hands-on backend development with server-rendered frontend work and REST/API integrations.
• You will be expected to independently manage your work, communicate timelines, identify risks, and help drive delivery without relying on a dedicated project-management layer.
• The environment values autonomy, strong communication, rapid learning, and pragmatic engineering decisions.
• You will need to become productive quickly within an existing codebase and establish effective working relationships with client stakeholders.
• This is a full-time independent contractor position, remote within Latin America , with compensation of $70,000–$80,000 USD per year, depending on experience .
