Senior Software Engineer

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to serve as the technical owner of a growing SaaS product ecosystem.

This role is responsible for maintaining architectural consistency, ensuring code quality, improving platform reliability, and building the technical foundation needed to support multiple products at scale.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical owner who can independently make architectural decisions, review AI-generated code, improve engineering processes, and ensure products remain reliable for customers. You will work closely with leadership and development teams while leveraging AI coding tools to increase engineering velocity without sacrificing quality.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Engineering Leadership

Own the architecture and technical consistency of a multi-product monorepo supporting multiple SaaS applications.

Define engineering patterns and standards across shared packages and product-specific applications.

Make architectural decisions related to scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform health.

Establish best practices for code organization, development workflows, and technical documentation.

Ensure consistency across multiple products built on a shared technology foundation.

AI-Assisted Development & Code Quality

Serve as the human reviewer and quality gate for AI-generated code.

Work alongside AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms to accelerate development.

Review, improve, and harden AI-generated implementations before production release.

Identify technical debt, potential risks, and failure points within AI-assisted development workflows.

Build processes that allow the engineering team to increase velocity while maintaining strong quality standards.

Database Architecture & Data Integrity

Own database architecture across multi-tenant SaaS applications.

Design and maintain Supabase/PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and database structures.

Implement and manage Row Level Security (RLS) policies.

Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability as the platform grows.

Improve database performance and reliability under increasing usage.

CI/CD, Testing & Engineering Reliability

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enforce engineering quality standards.

Implement automated testing processes across the platform.

Develop and maintain Playwright test coverage for critical customer workflows.

Ensure failing tests and quality checks prevent production issues.

Continuously improve engineering processes and release reliability.

Production Infrastructure & System Reliability

Own production reliability and platform stability.

Manage monitoring, debugging, and incident response processes.

Use tools such as Sentry to identify and resolve production issues.

Maintain staging environments with realistic production data.

Reduce customer-facing bugs and improve overall product reliability.

Establish processes that support scalable product growth.

Integrations & Platform Development

Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs.

Support integrations across the SaaS product ecosystem.

Design reliable systems that support future product expansion.

Ensure integrations remain secure, scalable, and maintainable.

Qualifications

Experience

6+ years of full-stack engineering experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience owning and maintaining production multi-tenant SaaS products.

Proven experience working independently as a senior technical contributor.

Experience making architecture decisions and owning technical outcomes.

Skills

Demonstrates deep expertise with TypeScript and can use it effectively across modern frontend and backend SaaS applications.

Has advanced experience with Next.js, specifically App Router, and can design and maintain production applications using modern Next.js architecture.

Has strong experience with Supabase and PostgreSQL, including database architecture, schema design, migrations, and Row Level Security policies.

Can design secure, scalable multi-tenant database structures while maintaining data integrity and performance.

Has hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that enforce quality standards and support reliable software releases.

Can create and maintain automated testing frameworks, including Playwright coverage for critical customer workflows.

Has experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot Workspace, or similar tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering standards.

Can effectively review, guide, debug, and improve AI-generated code before it reaches production.

Understands modern SaaS architecture and can make technical decisions that balance development speed, maintainability, reliability, and scalability.

Has experience monitoring and debugging production systems using tools such as Sentry or similar observability platforms.

Can build and maintain secure, scalable third-party API integrations that support evolving product requirements.

Preferred Experience

Experience working extensively with Supabase is preferred.

Experience designing Stripe billing systems, including subscription management, metered usage, and customer billing architecture, is preferred.

Experience with data pipelines, enrichment systems, deduplication, and data tracking is considered a plus.

Experience integrating GoHighLevel or other marketing automation APIs is considered a plus.

Experience working within SaaS, agency, B2B sales technology, or marketing technology environments is preferred.
