Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Platform based in Canada.

• This role focuses on building the cloud infrastructure, internal platforms, and developer capabilities that power reliable production services.
• You will work across AWS, Kubernetes, distributed systems, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, and internal developer tooling.
• The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, enabling product engineers to build, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services more effectively.
• You will identify systemic gaps and recurring engineering challenges, then turn them into scalable and reusable platform solutions.
• Your work will directly influence reliability, performance, availability, maintainability, and developer productivity across production systems.
• You will collaborate closely with product engineering and other technical stakeholders while leading initiatives from problem definition through adoption.
• The role also includes mentoring engineers and participating in on-call and incident response within a highly collaborative engineering environment.
