Senior Software Engineer, Storage

• This role sits within a Transactional Storage Services organization responsible for critical online serving stores and databases at large scale.
• You will help design, build, and operate a modern NewSQL database that serves as a source of truth for critical user, listing, and financial data.
• The position offers opportunities to work deeply across storage engines, query execution, replication, consensus, change data capture, and distributed systems.
• Depending on the team, you may focus on database kernel performance and reliability or on infrastructure that enables seamless workload migration and adoption.
• You will investigate complex production issues, improve system performance and availability, and contribute to open-source database technology.
• The role combines hands-on engineering, deep technical problem solving, operational ownership, and close collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams.
