Senior Specialist, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence( Claude & Copilot)

Job Description Summary

• As part of Novartis Agentic Fastrack, this role enables rapid, responsible AI adoption through low-code/no-code (LCNC) and AI productivity platforms.
• The Senior Specialist designs, delivers, and scales enterprise AI solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Quick Suite, Power Platform, and other approved LCNC technologies.

Job Description

Major Accountabilities

Own the design, configuration and lifecycle management of secure, scalable LCNC and AI productivity solutions.

Build and operationalize copilot/Claude agents, Skills, RAG solutions, prompt workflows, integrations, and reusable components across approved enterprise platforms.

Establish technical standards, guardrails, documentation, monitoring, and support models for reliable and responsible AI adoption.

Partner with business, architecture, security, data privacy, quality, and platform teams to ensure compliance with enterprise, GxP, GDPR, IAM, and responsible AI requirements.

Translate business needs into prioritized use cases, solution requirements, product backlogs, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.

Drive rapid prototyping and MVP delivery, evaluate user feedback and solution performance, and scale validated solutions into sustainable products.

Provide technical consulting, coaching, and enablement for citizen developers, fusion teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Hands-on experience delivering enterprise LCNC, automation, or AI solutions in SaaS/PaaS environments.

Expertise in platforms such as Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, Claude, or Amazon Quick Suite.

Strong knowledge of GenAI, LLMs, prompting, RAG, agents, APIs, data grounding, solution evaluation, and Python or similar scripting.

Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Automate, DevOps, CI/CD, and GitHub.

Working knowledge of enterprise architecture, IAM, security, privacy, responsible AI, and regulated-environment controls.

Strong agile delivery, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills in global teams.

Copilot and/or Claude certification preferred; fluent written and spoken English required.
