Senior Specialist, Procurement Systems and Data

About the role:

The Senior Specialist Procurement Systems and Data is responsible for defining and governing procurement data standards, ensuring data quality and ownership across the end-to-end procurement processes, categories and teams, and acting as systems owner to translate business process requirements into system configurations.

The position manages procurement data governance initiatives, master data management concept, system enhancement and configurations, reporting automation, and continuous improvement of procurement technology platforms. As part of procurement transformation office, the position enables data-driven decision making and systems digitalization.

What you will do:

• •Develop and implement the Procurement data governance and data model framework and standardized reporting templates.
• •Define procurement data standards, policies, procedures, controls and RACI framework.
• •Establish and maintain data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models within Procurement.
• •Define and manage Procurement data RACI across all procurement master and transactional data points and define data lifecycle and single point of truth.
• •Drive data quality improvement initiatives and master data cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy, completeness, harmonization and consistency across systems.
• •Act as owner for Procurement systems and digital solutions and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• •Evaluate implementation of new systems in the context of procurement system architecture and data integration.
• •Evaluate system enhancement requests and define business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing approaches.
• •Ensure procurement processes are effectively translated into system configuration and workflows.
• •Conduct User Acceptance Testing for new system implementations and enhancements and develop and conduct end-user training.

What you will need:

• •Bachelor's degree in IT, business administration, management, supply chain or related subject
• •5- 8 years of relevant work experience in an international environment
• •Strong understanding of procurement processes and procurement system architecture
• •Project management experience is beneficial, nice to have project management certification
• •Ability to translate process requirements into system configurations and data concepts
• •Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and data management concepts
• •Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to translate strategies into structured milestones
• •Solution oriented and confidence to challenge the status quo and drive improvements
• •Strong communication and change management skills also on to management-level
