Job Purpose

Ensure to keep FWDTH strategic alignment across company, competitive and driving the success of corporate strategy planning. Coordinate with Head of Strategic Planning and recommend on strategies, action plans, business performance, prioritization, new initiatives and budget requested. Key responsibilities comprises of corresponding with local functions / senior executives between FWD TH and Group Office, contributing to project Phoenix and FWDKH on their strategic planning and management reporting’s. Also, this role provides support and guidance to the Strategic Planning Team member and optimizes FWDKH’s financial processes and controls

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Formulation, Planning, & Communication

• •Support FWD’s strategy formulation and the business planning process to drive FWDTH toward its long-term goal and aspirations based on ExCom direction. Support FWD KHM in their strategy formulation and coordinate between TH and KHM senior management teams and Group Office.
• •Coach senior strategic planner in analyzing company and market performance, including macro-economic and industry root causes, and help improve the strategic and business recommendations to ExCom.
• •Help review functions’ action plans, new initiative proposals, and key issues and provide recommendations.
• •Help Head of Strategic planning in identifying business opportunities and threats and provide recommendations to ExCom and OpsCom for action.

Business Performance Management

• •Be the Financial and Business Controller, which entails reviewing, challenging and supporting FWD KHM on the quality and timeliness of their management reporting and financial business planning (i.e. ensuring consistency between KHM strategy and their financial plan, coordinating between KHM and GO teams).
• •Help Head of Strategic Planning in preparing and ensuring the quality of presentation for ExCom, Board of Directors, and Group Office.

Strategic Projects & Key Strategic Signed-off

Help IPO readiness of the company by having the primary responsibility for TH contribution to project Phoenix by coordinating between local functions, local senior management and Group Office.

People Development

• •Be a co-pilot for Head of Strategic Planning in managing/motivating SP team by building people engagement through communication, recognition, learning, and development.
• •Support team’s learning and development by sharing knowledge.
