Senior Summit Developer — Treasury Portfolio Management

Role Overview

We are looking for a Summit Developer with 7+ years of experience to provide technical expertise for the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of Summit Treasury portfolio management application modules. The role focuses on reengineering and enhancing existing interfaces and developing new interfaces and reports using the Summit API, with coordination across local and offshore development teams.

Scope of Work

Assist development efforts on enhancements to Summit application modules supporting capital markets and investment management functions.

Leverage Summit API knowledge to code the Loader Server Adaptor and Library to specification.

Coordinate development and testing activities with peers locally and offshore.

Provide project implementation support and detailed technical documentation.

Contribute to day-to-day operations support across multiple Summit instances.

Interface with other in-house systems including data repositories, accounting, and messaging systems; maintain existing code base and support minor changes, enhancements, and routine production operations.

Skills & Experience Required

Mandatory Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

7+ years of experience building client-server and web-based financial systems using current technologies and Summit API.

Extensive experience with Unix shell scripting, C, C++, Oracle PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, Orbix, and Summit API .

Experience documenting and managing issues and actions for IT development projects.

Excellent personal organization skills and ability to take tasks to closure without follow-ups.

Domain & Functional Experience

Advanced implementation experience with Summit FT.

Expertise in Treasury applications including: Liability Management (issuance, derivatives processing, analytics, reporting, mark-to-market, collateral management); Investment Management (settlement, accounting, financial messaging); Portfolio Management (analytics, financial valuation of complex structured transactions).

Advanced knowledge of systems design, project coordination, development, and implementation of complex financial information systems.

Ability to provide creative and effective solutions to project management and execution challenges.

Proven ability to liaise with cross-functional units on policy and technical issues; coordinate working teams and maintain constructive working relationships with management and staff.

Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
