Senior Systems Engineer - Space, Viasat Government

• This role supports the development, integration, verification, and operation of complex space systems delivering critical mission capabilities.
• You’ll contribute across mission architecture, spacecraft systems engineering, payload integration, mission operations, and verification.
• The position offers exposure to the full systems lifecycle, from early architecture and requirements through integration, testing, launch, and on-orbit operations.
• You’ll collaborate across spacecraft, payload, software, ground systems, suppliers, and distributed engineering teams.
• The role also provides opportunities to apply model-based systems engineering, mission simulations, and advanced engineering tools to challenging space programs.
• You’ll help identify technical risks, resolve complex system-level issues, and support major engineering and mission-readiness reviews.
• This is a remote U.S. opportunity requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
