Senior Test Engineer

Cards Ecosystem SME: In-depth domain knowledge of Credit and Debit card lifecycle management, Middle East regional scheme rules (Visa/Mastercard compliance), multi-currency transactions, and loyalty processing. Core Systems & Architecture: Deep architectural understanding of VisionPLUS (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, VMx) and IST Switch / ATM Switch integration. Simulators & Bench Management: Expertise in configuring and governing testing environments using VTS, OTS, ISO 8583 Messaging, ATM Simulators, POS Simulators, and Host Simulators. Lead & Delivery Management: Proven success in Test Strategy formulation, test planning, effort estimation, environment readiness, defect triage leadership, and risk mitigation. 2. KEY LEADERSHIP & TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the offshore Cards testing track, overseeing test plan creation, scope validation, and execution deliverables. Drive daily/weekly defect triage meetings with cross-functional development teams, business analysts, and Middle East client stakeholders. Provide technical mentorship to engineers on ISO 8583 message parsing, switch validations, and complex VisionPLUS lifecycle cases. Coordinate test environment readiness, test data generation, and simulator bench stability across all testing phases. 3. OPERATIONAL EXPECTATIONS & GOVERNANCE Quality Gatekeeping: Ensure successful execution across the team while maintaining organization quality standards and governance gates. Work Allocation & Delivery: Manage team work allocation, task breakdown, sprint tracking, and maintain a robust operational reporting structure. Repository Oversight: Enforce structured maintenance of the document repository for all test artifacts, execution logs, sign-offs, and project-level change requests. Workplace Discipline: Enforce workplace discipline, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and organizational security standards. Status Reporting: Consolidated daily, weekly, and monthly status reporting to the Test Manager and Onshore Project
