• Job Description:
• The Senior Vendor Funding Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for ensuring the successful use of millions in vendor funding utilized by other parties within the Bank. The role provides disciplined financial stewardship, ensures accurate tracking and governance, and identifies practical opportunities to maximize the strategic value and permissible use of funding across the enterprise. This position succeeds through organization, influence, sound judgment, and effective coordination across a complex stakeholder network.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor funding governance: Manage multiple funding categories totaling several hundred million dollars annually, including intake, allocation, utilization, reconciliation, forecasting, documentation, and reporting.

Stakeholder and vendor management: Build trusted relationships with senior-executive internal and external partners across the enterprise, including CSBB Products, Channels, GPS, Digital, Marketing, Finance and Accounting.

Analysis and problem solving: Investigate complex funding issues, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop timely, well-reasoned solutions.

Funding optimization: Apply creative and critical thinking to identify flexibility within contractual, policy, financial, and risk parameters.

Network rule waivers: Manage the network rule waiver process from intake through disposition, including requirements validation, stakeholder review, documentation, approvals, tracking, renewals, and escalation of risks or exceptions.

Performance reporting: Prepare concise management reporting on funding availability, utilization, commitments.

• Responsibilities:
• •Eight or more years of relevant experience in payments, finance, third-party management, vendor management, or a closely related discipline.

Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets, funding pools, financial commitments, vendor programs, or comparable portfolios with a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, deadlines, and stakeholders without direct authority.

Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex requirements, identify options, and make sound recommendations.

Strong relationship-management, negotiation, and influencing skills across business, functional, and external partner groups.

Experience maintaining controls, reconciling financial information, and producing clear reporting for senior stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial and operational matters in a concise, decision-oriented manner.

Bachelor's Degree required

Desired Skills:

Experience in card payments, merchant services, card networks, banking, or a regulated financial-services environment.

Working knowledge of vendor contracts, network rules, waiver or exception governance, financial controls, and third-party risk requirements.

Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, financial models, reporting tools, and executive presentations

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$129,500.00 - $232,400.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
