This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
• Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• •Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• •Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical support, code reviews, and best practice recommendations.
• •Participate in application design discussions and contribute to architecture and technology decisions
• •. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, backend services, and database structures.
• •Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing, documentation, and adherence to development standards.
• •Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• •Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues while ensuring platform stability and performance.
• •Optimize application and database performance through efficient coding and query optimization techniques.
• •Support cloud-based deployments and collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and release activities

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• •8+ years of experience in web application development using PHP and related technologies.
• •Strong experience with Laravel framework and enterprise application development.
• •Experience guiding developers through technical challenges, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
• •Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience

Required Technical Skills

• •PHP and Laravel Framework - Expert • SQL, MySQL, and Relational Database Design & Optimization - Expert • JavaScript and jQuery - Strong Proficiency
• •Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices
• •AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform) familiarity • Strong Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) fundamentals
• •Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
• •Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
