Service Technician- Bobcat

Atlas Bobcat, part of the Atlas Companies, is currently hiring full-time Shop Technicians to join our team. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, solving mechanical problems, and building a long-term career. Construction equipment experience is preferred, but automotive, diesel, farm equipment, heavy equipment, and industrial mechanics are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

• •Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues on Bobcat compact construction equipment using manufacturer diagnostic software and tools.
• •Perform preventative maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• •Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
• •Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and performance.
• •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas Bobcat.
• •Keep the Service Lead informed of current and potential issues related to service repairs, parts requirements, and customer concerns.
• •Maintain an inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working condition.
• •Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• •Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• •General mechanical knowledge and experience; experience with hydraulics, electrical or drive systems is preferred.
• •Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in construction, industrial, automotive, or related industries.
• •Strong communications skills.
• •A willingness to learn and be trained.
• •The ability to manage time and attendance. You must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
