JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• •Review shipping orders as distributed by shipping supervisor.
• •Process orders accordingly (i.e. picking orders)
• •Ensure that yard and warehouse are organized in a manner that maximizes efficiency, safety and customer order turnaround.
• •Put away all finished product from Fabrication and Assembly area (stock stored inside and outside) in the designated warehouse spaces.
• •Construct packaging i.e Skids/Gaylords
• •Inspect packaging.
• •Repack damaged products.
• •Apply labels as required (i.e. barcodes).
• •Keep work area clean (i.e. yard, bundle area)
• •Place scrap material in designated material bins (i.e. wood, strapping, cardboard)
• •Participate in the PVC Recovery program, ensure recycling of: broken pipe scrap pipe
• •Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• •Lift truck certification.( Counterbalance, order picker and reach truck) required
• •Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• •Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
