Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

Goal of position

To provide efficient and comprehensive shipping administration for equipment shipped from the UK & CZ and to act as an advisor to the different departments around the organisation regarding deliveries/imports.

Tasks :

• •Managing and co-ordinating export and import shipping activities.
• •Ensure deliveries are made in line with customer and company requirements.
• •Invoice generation and administration in UK ERP system.
• •Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries.
• •Completing required shipping certificates/documentation and detailed shipment records.
• •Controlling all imports into the UK by providing customs clearance instructions to the necessary clearance agent within a small-time frame to minimise storage costs/delivery delays.
• •Arranging the despatch, paperwork and collection of Demo, loans and exhibitions.
• •In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks that are essentially related to their role.

Position Requirements:

Essential :

• •Proven international experience in logistics. Working knowledge of import/export customs procedures.
• •Ability to prioritise competing demands.
• •Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• •Ability to work as part of a team.
• •Comfortable challenging issues and driving resolutions without supervision.
• •IT Literate - Good ability in using Microsoft Office.
