Shopify Developer

About the Role

Techdome is looking for a Shopify Developer to build high-converting e-commerce storefronts and contribute to digital growth. You'll work across Shopify development, performance optimization, SEO, analytics, CRO, and growth marketing — taking storefronts from design and development through launch and continuous optimization.

What You'll Do

• •Develop and customize Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• •Convert Figma designs into responsive, production-ready Shopify experiences
• •Build custom sections, templates, and reusable storefront components
• •Optimize site performance, Core Web Vitals, and mobile experiences
• •Integrate Shopify apps, APIs, payments, analytics, reviews, and subscriptions
• •Support SEO, Meta Ads, Google Ads, email/SMS campaigns, and CRO initiatives
• •Manage GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking
• •Run and support A/B testing and conversion optimization programs
• •Collaborate with design and content teams on campaigns and product launches

What You Need (Must-Haves)

• •2–5 years of hands-on Shopify development experience
• •Strong experience with Shopify Liquid
• •Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• •Experience with responsive design and performance optimization
• •Understanding of SEO, paid advertising, email/SMS marketing, or D2C growth
• •Working knowledge of GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking
• •Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
• •Strong understanding of conversion-focused e-commerce experiences

Nice to Have

• •Shopify Plus experience
• •Git/version control knowledge
• •Experience with CRO and heatmap tools
• •Exposure to Hydrogen, Next.js, or Shopify Storefront API
• •Experience with Klaviyo, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog
