Responsibilities:

Assembly

• •Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the assembly process
• •Follow guidelines and work instructions on military and standard jobs
• •Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
• •Sort and/or repair nonconforming parts (NCMRs)

Powder Coating

• •Prepare parts for coating
• •Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
• •Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, oven and booth collection systems
• •Ensure that all components are produced/coated effectively and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer orders

Packing/Vent

• •Follow packing list to pack assembled parts in boxes
• •Pack boxes on pallets
• •Develop mailing labels and shipping documents
• •Keep accurate records of shipments
• •Ensure orders are filled correctly

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education :

• •Experience in reading blueprints
• •Good understanding of quality control principles
• •Excellent hand-eye coordination
• •Strong attention to detail
• •Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• •High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• •Strong computer skills
• •Familiarity with ISO standards

Physical Requirements:

• •Must be able to work in noisy, greasy, manufacturing environments.
• •Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• •Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb as necessary.
• •Visual acuity to read instructions, micrometers, blue prints, and inspect parts produced.
