Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Shuttle Van Driver will operate a passenger vehicle on designated routes to safely and efficiently transport Airbus employees throughout the Mobile Manufacturing Site (MMS). This role requires a safety-conscious, reliable driver with strong customer service skills and an excellent driving record.

Primary Responsibilities

Driving & Route Operations — 70%

• •Safely operate passenger shuttle vans along designated routes and schedules to transport employees to and from Airbus MMS.
• •Monitor and optimize turn times actively to ensure employee wait times are kept to a minimum.
• •Provide overtime shift coverage as required to maintain continuous shuttle service.

Passenger Tracking & Fleet Logs — 20%

• •Record hourly passenger counts accurately to track volume across all designated stops.
• •Log vehicle mileage daily to assist fleet management in determining proper routine maintenance schedules.

Communication & Fleet Care — 10%

• •Promptly communicate with supervisors and fellow drivers regarding any route deviations, delays, or needs.
• •Clean vehicle interiors on a regular basis to maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• •Communicate courteously with passengers regarding route stops and schedule requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• •Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• •Driver’s License (Required): Active, valid Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• •Driver’s License (Preferred): Active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class C).

Experience & Skills

• •Basic passenger vehicle driving experience with little or no record of driving infractions.
• •Prior experience driving CDL-level or large passenger vehicles is preferred.
• •Strong time-management skills and practical knowledge of vehicle operation.
• •Proficient spoken and written English communication skills.
