Position Summary

AB Facility Services is seeking an experienced Floor Technician to maintain commercial flooring in a professional office environment. Candidates must have hands-on experience with floor care equipment and floor restoration services.

• Responsibilities:
• •Strip, wax, buff, scrub, and maintain hard floor surfaces
• •Sweep, mop, shampoo, and vacuum floors as needed
• •Operate floor care equipment including auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, Kaivac systems, and other floor machines
• •Mix and use cleaning chemicals safely according to manufacturer guidelines
• •Transport equipment and supplies throughout the facility
• •Monitor inventory and report supply needs
• •Follow all safety procedures and company standards

• Requirements:
• •Minimum 1 year of commercial floor care experience
• •Experience with floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing required
• •Ability to operate floor care machinery safely and effectively
• •Must be at least 18 years old
• •Must be authorized to work in the United States
• •Must pass a background check

• Physical Requirements:
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds as needed
• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods

$200 SIGN-ON BONUS

Part Time Shift

• Location: Norfolk, VA
• Pay: $14.00 - $15.77 per hour
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
