As Site Supply Chain Head, you will shape and execute the site supply chain strategy, empower a talented team, and bring planning, procurement, inventory, and production together. Your leadership will help safeguard supply continuity, improve operational performance, and ensure the right resources are available when patients need them most.

Job Description

Major Accountabilities :

Define and execute the site supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives.

Lead and develop the supply chain team, building capabilities and supporting talent growth.

Integrate production, material, and logistics plans to ensure accurate execution across systems.

Lead materials planning and procurement to maintain uninterrupted supply and optimal inventory levels.

Strengthen supply continuity by identifying, assessing, and mitigating site-level supply risks.

Optimize backup doses to balance customer service, product availability, and waste reduction.

Monitor budgets and supply chain performance, delivering improvements in cost, quality, and service.

Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve planning, procurement, and operational performance.

Obligatory Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, nuclear medicine technology, or a related field.

• •At least 10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or a comparable role.
• •Proven expertise in inventory management, procurement, production planning, and supply continuity.

Experience using enterprise resource planning systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• •Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder-influencing capabilities.
• •Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:

Spain: EUR 60,100 – 111,500

The salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
