About the role:

SMSF Accountant – Perth Business Advisory Team

Location: Perth, WA

Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join RSM’s Perth Business Advisory team and play a key role in our SMSF processing division .

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team, delivering high-quality compliance services for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) while supporting other SMSF specialists.

What You’ll Do

• •Prepare SMSF work papers and financial statements in line with current legal and accounting standards.
• •Liaise with SMSF auditors and resolve queries promptly.
• •Identify and address relevant accounting and compliance issues.
• •Assist with client meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
• •Ensure compliance with lodgement programs and deadlines.

About you:

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• •Essential: Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major
• •Desirable:
• •CA or equivalent (completed or in progress)
• •SMSF Specialist course

Experience & Attributes:

• •1–2 years in a similar role
• •Proficiency with Class Super
• •Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively
