Snowflake Data pipeline & Integration Engineer - Senior Manager

• Job Summary
• We are looking for an AVP – Data Pipeline, Integration & Snowflake Administration Engineering to own and support large-scale data ingestion, replication, and Snowflake platform administration.
• This role will focus on GoldenGate-based replication, cloud-native pipelines, Snowflake data platform engineering
• & administration, Databricks BAU support, and production issue triage.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Pipeline Ownership

• Own and support data ingestion and replication pipelines using GoldenGate (GG), DMS
• Design, build, and support data pipelines and integrations on Snowflake
• Provide BAU support for pipelines (ReplHub, GG, DMS, Snowflake, etc.)
• Develop and maintain data processing components using Python
• Support and enhance Databricks pipelines and workloads

Snowflake Administration

Administer and manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, databases, implementation ci/cd deployments and schemas

• Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, and security policies
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, query tuning, and workload management
• Manage compute/storage cost optimization strategies (auto-suspend, scaling policies)
• Handle data sharing, replication, failover, and disaster recovery configurations
• Ensure data governance, masking, encryption, network policies and compliance controls
• Manage Snowflake upgrades, configurations, and platform health monitoring
• Integration of SSO for Snowflake, key management
• DR, failover and replication capabilities for Snowflake

Operations & Reliability

• Lead production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for pipeline and platform issues
• Coordinate with cloud teams for performance, scalability, and reliability improvements
• Monitor pipelines and Snowflake workloads for SLAs and operational health
• Support testing, validation, and release activities across environments
• Collaborate with application/business teams for pipeline enhancements and issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake (MANDATORY) including administration and platform management
• Proven experience in Snowflake administration:

• RBAC, security, data governance
• Performance tuning and query optimization
• Warehouse and cost management
• Backup, replication, and DR setup

• Strong experience with GoldenGate (GG) and DMS
• Hands-on experience with Python
• Experience supporting Databricks in production environments
• Strong understanding of AWS/Azure cloud services
• Experience building and managing data warehouse/lakehouse architectures
• Proven ability to triage and resolve production issues in large-scale data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-grade Snowflake platform administration at scale
• Knowledge of data security, governance, lineage, and auditing frameworks
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Snowflake Resource Monitors, Query History, etc.)
• Experience in financial data domains and regulatory environments
• Exposure to data quality, reconciliation, and operational monitoring frameworks
