• The Role and Impact
• As a SoC Logic Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating logic designs for System-on-Chip (SoC) projects. This includes RTL coding, simulation, and integration of IP blocks into full-chip SoCs. You will play a key role in ensuring the designs meet power, performance, area, and timing goals while also maintaining design integrity for physical implementation. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of Intel's cutting-edge technologies.

As part of this global Research and Development team, you will collaborate with engineers across geographies to deliver SoC designs that enable exceptional user experiences and advance Intel's broader technology goals.

Key Responsibilities

• •Develop logic designs and RTL code for IP blocks and SoC integration.
• •Perform simulations and quality checks to ensure designs meet power, performance, area, and timing requirements.
• •Collaborate on the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features for blocks being designed.
• •Integrate and validate IPs at the SoC level, ensuring smooth IP-SoC handoffs.
• •Document verification plans and create test content and coverage points to validate new architectural features.
• •Debug failing RTL tests and implement corrective measures to ensure design correctness.
• •Apply secure development practices to address security objectives within the design.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems, or a related field, with 1-2 years of hands-on domain experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
• •Proficiency in hardware description languages such as System Verilog or Verilog.
• •Foundational knowledge of RTL integration and validation methodologies.

• •Strong analytical and debugging skills to identify and address design challenges effectively.
• •Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global counterparts and key stakeholders.
• •Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to cross-functional teams.
