This hands-on role will regularly visit our dealership locations to capture engaging photo and video content, identify great stories and opportunities, and help plan and execute dealership and community events. Why You'll Love Working with Us:
- Creative Freedom: Bring your ideas to life and help shape how our dealerships show up on social media.
- No Two Days Are the Same: From new vehicle launches and employee spotlights to community events and customer deliveries, there’s always something new to capture.
- Get Out From Behind the Desk: Maintain a regular rotation among our dealership locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire to create fresh, authentic content.
- Great Brands & Great Stories: Create content for Chevrolet, Mazda, Volvo, and Land Rover while highlighting the people and communities behind the Goodwin Motor Group.
- Family-Owned Business: We’ve been family-owned since 1932, and our people and communities remain at the heart of what we do.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: Range around $55,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance to keep you and your family healthy.
- 90% Paid Insurance Premiums: The company pays 90% of insurance premiums on employee plans.
- Pet Insurance: We care about your furry friends too!
- 401k & 3% Safe Harbor Contribution: Secure your future with our robust retirement plan.
- Paid Time Off & Holidays: Recharge and enjoy life outside of work.
- Fully Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability: We've got you covered.
- Employee Purchasing Programs: Enjoy discounts on the products you love.
- Career Advancement Opportunities: Grow with us and take your career to new heights.
Your Responsibilities:
- Social Media: Manage day-to-day organic social media content across Goodwin Motor Group dealership locations, with a focus on Facebook and Instagram.
- Content Creation: Capture compelling photos and videos featuring vehicles, employees, customer deliveries, dealership happenings, service departments, community involvement, promotions, and more.
- Video Production: Create and edit short-form video and Reels using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut.
- Store Content Visits: Maintain a regular weekly rotation among our dealership locations to gather fresh content and build relationships with dealership teams.
- Content Planning: Maintain an organized content calendar and consistent posting schedule while leaving room for timely, spontaneous content.
- Creative Development: Identify trends, stories, vehicle features, employee personalities, and everyday dealership moments that can become engaging social content.
- Event Planning & Execution: Help plan, coordinate, promote, and execute dealership and community events throughout the year.
- Event Content: Capture and create content before, during, and after events to extend their reach across social media.
- Community Engagement: Help showcase Goodwin Motor Group's involvement with local organizations, sponsorships, and the communities we serve.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Professional experience in social media, content creation, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred. A strong portfolio can speak louder than a specific number of years.
- Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Reels, Meta Business Suite, social trends, and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Editing Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut or similar photo and video editing tools.
- Tech Comfortable: Confident learning and using smartphones, cameras, gimbals, wireless microphones, drones, and other content-creation equipment.
- Creative & Self-Motivated: Strong instincts for photography, video, and storytelling, with the initiative to recognize content opportunities, generate ideas, and turn them into finished content independently.
- Organization: Able to balance content needs, deadlines, events, and priorities across multiple dealership locations and brands.
- Communication Skills: Comfortable working with different personalities and departments and getting people involved in content.
- On-Camera Confidence is a Plus: Comfortable appearing in videos or speaking about vehicles, events, specials, or dealership happenings.
- Event Experience is a Plus: Previous experience coordinating or executing events is helpful but not required.
- Travel & Schedule Flexibility: Willing and able to travel regularly among Goodwin Motor Group locations in Maine and New Hampshire. Most work will take place during normal business hours, with occasional evenings or weekends required for dealership and community events, typically including a handful of Saturdays throughout the year depending on the event schedule.
