Social Service Worker Remote

Job Description:

• This position is a remote position with our Stabilization Team serving the Tooele Region and providing backup to other regions as necessary. It is a full-time, benefits-eligible (40 hours per week) role, working Monday through Friday, with evening hours as needed.
• Our Stabilization Team is dedicated to supporting children and families in their homes by helping them navigate challenges, build skills, and strengthen family functioning. The Social Service Worker (SSW) in this role will provide short-term stabilization services through primarily in-home visits, with occasional video visits when appropriate.
• As part of the Stabilization Services program, the SSW works alongside a multidisciplinary team to help families develop practical skills, create plans to address and prevent future challenges, reduce the need for out-of-home services, and connect with ongoing community resources and supports. The goal of the program is to empower families with the tools and support needed to achieve greater stability and long-term success. Please note that a video interview through Microsoft Teams will be required as well as potential onsite interviews and meetings.

Position Details:

• •This position is with our Mobile Response Team serving the Tooele area. Candidates should be willing to work evenings, holidays, and other nontraditional hours as needed to meet the needs of the program and the families we serve.
• •The individual in this role will be required to use their personal vehicle for work-related travel throughout the greater Tooele and Salt Lake City regions. Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with organizational policy. The position offers the opportunity to provide critical support to children, youth, and families in their communities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Minimum Qualifications

• •Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• •Current state licensure as a Social Services Worker. ( SSW LICENSURE )
• •Computer skills (email, word processing, and spreadsheets).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with in a healthcare setting.

• •Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
• •Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
• •Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
• •May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $29.43 - $45.39
