Social Worker - Assessment Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adults Social Worker to join its client’s Assessment team based in Kirklees.

What will your responsibilities be?

Carer Assessment & Approval: Conduct thorough assessments of prospective Shared Lives carers, evaluating their suitability, home environment, and capacity to provide safe, person-centred support.

Flexible Engagement & Home Visits: Arrange and carry out home visits - including occasional evenings - to build rapport with applicants and gather detailed information to inform the approval process.

Documentation & Panel Preparation: Compile comprehensive assessment reports and present findings to the Shared Lives approval panel, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and scheme standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:

Social Work England registration

Eligible to work in the UK

Hold a full UK driving licence

Post-qualified experience

Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
