Social Worker – Preparation for Adulthood

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Preparation for Adulthood team, based in Richmond Upon Thames.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will be undertaking assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.

Working in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.

Applying social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

A recognised Social Work qualification

Current Social Work England (SWE) registration

Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care

Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation

Strong multi-agency partnership working skills

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice

A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families
