Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for several Social Workers to join a Children & Families Service within Middlesbrough .

Available Teams & Key Requirements

Looked After Children (LAC)

Experience in care planning and permanency pathways

Strong understanding of statutory responsibilities for children in care

Ability to build lasting relationships with children and carers

Skilled in multi-agency working and court report writing

Assessment Team

Confident in completing timely and thorough assessments

Knowledge of thresholds and early intervention strategies

Ability to manage high-volume caseloads with efficiency

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Safeguarding Team

Proven experience in child protection and risk management

Ability to lead strategy discussions and attend case conferences

Skilled in writing and presenting reports for court proceedings

Familiarity with care proceedings and legal frameworks

Edge of Care Team

Experience supporting families to prevent care entry

Creative problem-solving and crisis intervention skills

Ability to build trust and resilience in families

Familiarity with intensive support models and short-term interventions

What We’re Looking For

Registered with Social Work England

Completed ASYE & 2 years post qualified

Recent experience of case work in Child Protection, Children in Need, Court work and Care Proceedings, Assessment

Excellent communication, analysis, and safeguarding skills

Knowledge of key legislation and ability to use a strengths-based approach

Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle
