Software Engineer Ada (f/m/d)

A vacancy as a Software Engineer Ada (f/m/d) for Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Our systems enable mission data preparation, provide the interfaces to the flying platforms, and support the evaluation of the mission or flight.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

As software engineer (m / w /d) you will develop simulations for the avionic environment:

• •analysis of the use cases and needs in close cooperation with the various stakeholders of system engineering team
• •definition and realization of software architectures and the ability to evaluate different architectural solutions and choose the best solution
• •able to understand process workflows and define SW solutions using Ada
• •design and implement simulation for our mission data validation solutions
• •preparation and execution of software tests to satisfy the different levels of verification and validation
• •integration of activities in the Software Development Lifecycle
• •develop according to Software Development Plan and accompanied Standards

Desired skills and qualifications:

• •University degree (bachelor or master) in computer science or equivalent qualification
• •10+ years of relevant experience
• •Good communication skills
• •A proactive mindset and high teamwork
• •Motivation for agile SW development processes and methods
