What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.

The role involves monitoring critical applications, troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, ensuring system stability, and supporting business-critical production environments.

You’ll also be:

• •Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business
• •Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
• •Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
• •Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
• •Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

The skills you'll need

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong production support experience, working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, and exposure to AWS cloud services. ITIL knowledge / certification and experience with scripting, monitoring tools, or DevOps practices will be preferred.

You’ll also need:

• •3+ years of Production Support experience in a 24x7 environment
• •Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and troubleshooting
• •Working experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications
• •Experience in incident management, problem management, and RCA preparation
• •Exposure to monitoring, log analysis, and application support activities
• •Strong analytical and communication skills
• •Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle critical production issues
