You Will Do

YOU will design and develop cutting-edge embedded software, networking and communication products in C/C++ and Rust

YOU will drive project success by collaborating on requirements, implementation, test development, and certification

YOU will lead initiatives and help organize tasks for team members

YOU will help make decisions for your team: supporting cost, schedule, and technical performance

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

1 year of experience with embedded software development

1 year of experience in Python and C/C++

Qualifications We Prefer

Active U.S. Department of Defense Clearance

Experience with Linux development environments

Experience in multiple phases of the software development lifecycle

Experience with Git or other version control systems

Some experience with networking and communications protocols

Some experience with Rust programming language

Some experience with multithreading and containerization

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
