Software Engineer Student, SPIV team

Build the infrastructure behind Amazon's next-generation silicon.

The SPIV team in Haifa works at the intersection of hardware and software - we build the tooling, automation, and systems that power the K2 and Graviton platforms at scale. These are the chips that run AWS. And we need your help keeping them running smoothly.

You'll own real work, ship real code, and see your contributions running in production alongside a team of experienced engineers who'll invest in your growth.

• Key job responsibilities
• - Build & automate: Develop software and tooling that keeps K2 and Graviton platforms humming at scale
• - Write code that matters: Python, Bash, AWS services — your code will run in production
• - Own your work: Take tasks from design through implementation, testing, and deployment
• - Learn by doing: Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and operational workflows with senior engineers

Basic qualifications

• - B.Sc. student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years remaining until graduation. **Please include your academic transcript along with your resume in a single PDF file.
• - Experience with Python programming and Linux environments

Preferred qualifications

• - Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, or S3
• - Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines or automating manual processes
• - Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Pytest, Jenkins, or similar tools
• - Experience writing Bash scripts
• - Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
