As a Software Engineering Intern you will work side-by-side with Senior Engineers building resilient systems, solving real challenges, writing code, and mastering AI-driven development practices.

You will

• •Contribute ideas in technical discussions and see them come to life
• •Design, test, and deploy features used by businesses around the world

• •Harness advanced AI developer tools
• •Pair directly with Engineer to design, test, and ship high-impact features powering WEX’s global financial technology platform.
• •Engage in technical workshops, present demos, and collaborate across global technology teams

Who We’re Looking For

• •Currently enrolled in your penultimate (second-to-last) year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• •Solid foundation in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go).
• •Passion for leveraging generative AI, LLM tooling, and modern developer utilities to accelerate workflow and problem-solving
• •Strong logical reasoning, curiosity, and a drive to understand system design from first principles
• •Proactive communication skills, eager to seek and integrate direct technical feedback
