Software QA Engineer

Role: QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• •Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, UI, and Database testing.
• •Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium Python /Selenium Java / Playwright.
• •Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• •Execute API testing and validation using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• •Review requirements, test cases, and test artifacts to ensure quality coverage.
• •Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution verification.
• •Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams.
• •Create and maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
• •Contribute to automation framework enhancements and migration initiatives.

API Testing

• •Be comfortable reviewing requirements, preparing test strategies, and conducting peer reviews.
