Job Title: General Sonographer – Weekend Shifts Location: Derbyshire Working Pattern: Saturday and Sunday (weekday induction required)
Role Overview: We are seeking experienced General Sonographers to join a well-regarded NHS service in Derbyshire for weekend shifts. Following a weekday induction, you will provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across a varied caseload, helping maintain patient care and service delivery over the weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of general ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
Accurately report findings and make appropriate referrals when necessary.
Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout all examinations.
Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of weekend ultrasound services.
Requirements:
HCPC registration.
Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
Proven competency in general sonography.
Ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
