Sorter - 2nd Shift

Recycling Works / Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift - Recycle Center Sorter to join the team in Elkhart, Indiana.

Schedule: 2:00pm start time normally finishing around 12-12:30 AM.

Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials.
• •Will sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
• •Responsible the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
• •Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
• •Assuming custodial duties as needed.
• •Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• •Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• •Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• •Ability to be on your feet for most if not all of the shift
