The role

This is a strategic and operationally impactful sourcing role at the heart of Pixii's supply chain function.

As Sourcing Category Manager, you will own the development and execution of category strategies across Pixii's key material groups. Working closely with engineering, product, and project teams, you will ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and supplier quality — directly enabling Pixii's ability to deliver battery energy storage solutions to customers worldwide.

You will:

Develop and lead sourcing strategies for assigned material categories, aligned with business stakeholders and project teams across regions

Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery performance, and commercial terms

Conduct market investigations, benchmarking, and should-cost analysis to identify and realize cost reduction opportunities

Evaluate and introduce new suppliers and technologies to optimize the supply base and reduce material costs

Negotiate and manage supply agreements, framework agreements, and service contracts

Deliver annual savings targets and improvements in payment terms in line with company objectives

Collaborate with engineering, product management and quality functions on sourcing decisions for new product development and project requirements

Maintain accurate supplier database, ECN and ERP system handling

What you will be measured on

Delivery of annual savings targets and cost reduction initiatives

Supplier performance and quality metrics across assigned categories

Contract coverage and commercial terms achieved through negotiation

Supply continuity and risk mitigation across the category portfolio

Effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product management, SCM, quality and global project teams

Who we are looking for

You are a structured and commercially driven procurement professional with a strong track record in category management and supplier development. You combine analytical rigour with negotiation expertise and work effectively across functions in a fast-paced environment.

You bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain or a related field

8-10 years of sourcing and procurement experience, ideally in the electronics, electrical, or industrial manufacturing sector

Demonstrated experience developing and executing category strategies, including market analysis, benchmarking, and should-cost modelling

Experience with engineering projects, technical specifications, and supply chain contracting

Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes

Project management experience is an advantage

Experience in renewable energy industry is an advantage

Analytical and structured, with strong attention to detail

A confident communicator, comfortable engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels

Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-growing environment

A collaborative team player who builds strong cross-functional relationships

Comfortable with frequent travel as required by the role

Languages:

English (fluent, written and spoken)
