The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced event environment, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and can confidently move between guest service, bar production, event setup, and breakdown while maintaining CHG’s standards.

What You’ll Do:

Guest & Bar Service

Provide warm, attentive, and efficient service to guests throughout events.

Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine; craft cocktail knowledge is a plus.

Learn and confidently execute The Mallory’s beverage menus, recipes, service standards, and catering offerings.

Manage high-volume bar service while maintaining quality, organization, and a positive guest experience.

Use the POS system as required for event service and beverage tracking.

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.

Anticipate guest and event needs and proactively address service issues.

Communicate effectively with event, operations, culinary, and beverage teams to keep service running smoothly.

Event Operations

Support event setup and breakdown, including bar setup, stocking, equipment movement, and replenishment.

Assist with receiving, organizing, and properly storing beverage deliveries and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness and readiness of bar, FOH, and BOH areas throughout the event.

Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities as assigned.

Safely operate venue equipment such as dollies and hand trucks.

Follow all alcohol service, safety, sanitation, and venue procedures.

Report safety hazards, accidents, injuries, or operational issues to the manager on duty.

Support the broader event team as needed to ensure events are executed smoothly and on time.

Beverage Program

Follow CHG beverage standards, recipes, and service procedures to ensure consistency across events.

Participate in beverage training, menu rollouts, and product education as needed.

Develop a strong knowledge of The Mallory’s beverage offerings and demonstrate a willingness to continuously build product and service knowledge.

Provide feedback to the beverage leadership team on guest experience, products, and service when appropriate.

What We’re Looking For:

1+ year of bartending experience, preferably in high-volume restaurants, event venues, hotels, clubs, or upscale hospitality environments.

Experience bartending weddings, corporate events, galas, or other high-volume events is a plus.

Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining composure in a high-volume environment.

Friendly, confident, and polished approach to guest service.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift throughout an event.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or move up to 50 lbs.
