Specialist, SAP Integration - Remote 12 Month Contract

OVERVIEW

Reporting to Senior Director, SAP Applications and Solutions, the SAP Integration Specialist designs, builds, and supports secure integration and extension solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Business Technology Platform.

This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP integration professional with strong experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Fiori/SAPUI5, BTP security, and cloud connectivity .

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, test and support integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP Cloud Integration/CPI .

Design scalable integration architectures between S/4HANA and third-party and cloud applications, following SAP BTP best practices.

Participate in design discussion of Iflow, mappings, transformations, exception handling, monitoring, and reusable integration components.

Expert in understanding of the Integration points between SAP and non-SAP applications, including SAP S/4HANA, Concur, SAP Analytics Cloud.

Monitor APIs using SAP API Management .

Design BTP destinations, Cloud Connector, certificates, authentication, authorization, role-based access.

Support SAP Build Work Zone sites, spaces, pages, roles, catalogs, cards, and application exposure.

Design, integrate, and support SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and custom web applications within SAP BTP and SAP Build Work Zone.

Monitor interfaces and APIs, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and support production operations.

Partner with architects, functional teams, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.

Create technical specifications, interface documentation, API documentation, support runbooks, and deployment notes.

Utilize monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Relevant SAP certifications are preferred.

Experience

5+ years of progressive hands-on experience in designing and supporting SAP Integration, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and enterprise cloud integration environments.

Experience with SAP Build Work Zone , including site administration, spaces, pages, roles, catalogs, cards, and application integration.

Experience deploying and integrating SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 applications on SAP BTP.

Experience integrating SAP solutions with Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, or other cloud-based enterprise platforms.

Experience working in regulated, enterprise-scale environments with established governance and documentation standards.

Knowledge /Competencies/Skills

Preferred

SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, Build Work Zone, Event Mesh, and related BTP services.

Integration architecture, API-led connectivity, data transformation, monitoring, and exception handling.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and implementation plans.

Strong collaboration, problem-solving, documentation, governance, and continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice to Have

SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Associate – Integration Developer / BTP).

ABAP RAP or ABAP Cloud (in-app extensibility).

SAP Joule / AI services on BTP

SAP Cloud ALM monitoring

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working Hours

Covering the core hours of operation, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time, this is a Full-Time position, scheduled forty (40) hours per week, working not less than 37.5 hours per week.

Extra or flexible hours, including occasional after-hours and weekend support, may be required.

Expected Compensation :

An annual base salary in the range of $95,000 to $120,000.

The salary range listed complies with the Ontario Employment Standards Act and reflects a potential base salary range for this role. The actual salary offered will be determined within the range, and will depend on factors, such as the candidate’s unique qualifications, relevant experience, work location and expected contributions.
