At ExtraHop, we’re on a mission to protect and empower the connected enterprise. We reveal what is happening in the very infrastructure that sustains businesses, lives, and communities, and ensure the integrity of networks, data, systems, and processes. Organizations rely on ExtraHop to provide visibility into the cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and network performance issues that evade their existing security and IT tools. With this insight, organizations can investigate smarter, stop threats faster, and keep operations running.
Our mission is fueled by a profound social and moral responsibility to be the best at what we do, ensuring a secure world where everyone can thrive. If this sounds like a place you’d like to spend the next chapter of your career, we’d love to hear from you.
Position Summary
ExtraHop is the Real-Time Context Platform for Security and IT Operations. Our buyers are CISOs, CIOs and the security and infrastructure leaders who run the largest, most complex networks in the world. We're focused on a defined set of named accounts in financial services, public sector, healthcare and manufacturing, tech and energy.
You'll own the events program that puts us in the room with those accounts. That means the flagship industry shows, including higher-value formats such as member driven industry shows like FS-ISAC, H-ISAC. You'll measure success by meetings with buying committees in target accounts and the pipeline those meetings create.
Key Responsibilities
Build and run the annual global events plan across North America, EMEA and APAC, prioritized by where our target accounts are and what our sales and ABM plans need.
Run our presence at flagship shows (for example RSAC, Fal.Con & Black Hat) and select vertical events, with a clear goal for each: target-account meetings, customer engagement, analyst and press time, or partner pipeline.
Partner with Sales, SDRs and Partners before every event to set account targets and book meetings, and after it to run follow-up within agreed SLAs.
Work with Product Marketing and executive speakers on session content, briefings and demos that reflect our positioning.
Co-plan events with channel, GSI and technology partners, including partner-funded programs.
Own the events budget. Reallocate spend toward formats and events that produce pipeline in target accounts, and cut the ones that don't.
Report on every event and on the program as a whole: target-account attendance, meetings held, buying-committee contacts engaged, pipeline sourced and influenced, and cost per engaged account. Share the results with marketing and sales leadership.
Manage event agencies and vendors: contracts, booth design and build, production, venues, logistics and lead processing.
Keep events data clean in Salesforce and Eloqua so attendance and engagement tie to accounts and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
7+ years running events for B2B technology companies, including at least 3 years owning a multi-event annual program and budget.
A track record of executive events for senior buyers (CISOs, CIOs, VPs), with examples of the pipeline or revenue they produced.
Experience running events in an ABM or named-account motion, working directly with sales teams on account targets and meetings.
Experience with flagship enterprise security or IT shows, and with international events.
Comfort with numbers: you build budgets, measure ROI by account and opportunity, and make cut-or-keep calls from data.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a marketing automation platform
Experience managing exhibit agencies, venues and production vendors on tight timelines.
The presence to brief executives and sales teams, set expectations for booth and dinner staff, and hold people to them.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Work cooperatively with others within the organization and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Work well in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
Has predictable, reliable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
Cybersecurity, network, or IT operations industry experience.
Events in regulated industries such as financial services, public sector, or healthcare.
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $123,000 + bonus + benefits
