Sr. Data Engineer, Financial Systems

• This role supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of financial applications and the data interfaces that connect them.
• You will translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions while contributing to application support, data engineering, and system improvements.
• The position combines SQL development, data integration, production support, performance optimization, and financial systems expertise.
• You will collaborate closely with technical leads, architects, Finance business teams, IT groups, cybersecurity, audit, and other stakeholders.
• The role also involves working within Agile practices, development standards, change controls, and software lifecycle processes.
• You will troubleshoot complex production issues, improve system performance, and contribute to both incremental fixes and broader architectural enhancements.
