Sr. Gas Engineer - Generations and Distributions (Facilities Operations)

Position: Gas Engineer – Facilities Operations

Purpose

Responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, fixing, and continuous improvement of facility gas systems supporting manufacturing and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• •Operate, monitor, and maintain facility gas generation, storage, and distribution systems.
• •Handle LN₂ (Liquid Nitrogen), N₂ (Nitrogen), CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide), O₂ (Oxygen), CDA (Clean Dry Air), Argon, Hydrogen, Helium, and other specialty gas systems .
• •Ensure uninterrupted gas supply to production and facility operations.
• •Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of gas systems.
• •Monitor gas purity, pressure, flow, and consumption.
• •Fix gas system alarms, leaks, and operational issues.
• •Support commissioning, qualification, and expansion of gas infrastructure.
• •Ensure compliance with EHS, LOTO, PTW, and hazardous gas handling requirements.
• •Maintain operational records, SOPs, calibration, and maintenance documentation.
• •Person should have proficiency in using Gen AI Tools, Copilot, Copilot library & Agent bots.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.
