Job Summary:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

PayPal Treasury is seeking a driven and analytical treasury professional with relevant experience to support our LATAM activity and be part of our expanding operations internationally. Successful candidates will need the ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment remaining focused on risk, bottom line results and to comply with the requirements of the local regulators.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

• •Provide Treasury support for a key market ensuring regulatory and licensing compliance
• •Manage intercompany funding, cash management, and cash flow forecasting & budgeting
• •Provide leadership in Treasury system integration activities
• •Assist in managing external debt facilities
• •Develop and maintain key Treasury reports to monitor performance and risk metrics
• •Monitor and report counterparty limits, trading authority limits, and TADP ownership
• •Support Treasury/Risk policy maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Be a part of the International Treasury team working to expand the PayPal Brand and support the legal entities in LATAM

Work closely with the Legal Entity Management to ensure regulatory and licensing compliance

Responsible for the treasury risk management of the LATAM and Canada entities, i.e. liquidity risk, counterparty risk, market risk, etc.

Explore opportunities to reduce the operational risk and enhance internal contorls within the complex PayPal ecosystem

Establish robust capital and liquidity planning for the LATAM entities and explore options/alternatives to support the local entity funding requirements

Monitoring local regulatory ratio requirements, and establishing action plans to demonstrate continued compliance in appropriate markets

Develop and maintain key Treasury reports to monitor and track the key metrics in the region

Ensure treasury operates within the Treasury Governance policies at all times and be aware of individual responsibilities around risk management i.e. Liquidity risk, FX Risk, Counterparty risk, etc.

Work with Treasury M&A Integration team on incorporating newly acquired businesses into existing LATAM entities at PayPal and standardising governance and processes

Partner closely with the payment and product teams to support new initiatives in their responsible markets, including development

Coordinate with the Global Cash Management team to ensure seamless execution for entity’s funding needs

Develop and Maintain key Treasury reports to monitor and track the key metrics in the region

Promote the use of AI and automation across the Treasury function to strengthen controls and optimise operations

Job Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, a strong track record of Treasury Management or related experience

Ability to excel in a fast paced, highly analytical environment where multi-tasking and short timelines are met with consistent ability to achieve financial accuracy

Strong project management skills

Ability to collaborate outside of Treasury organization as Company evolves processes and strategy to new global standards

Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven track record in cash and liquidity management, forecasting and capital planning

Strong communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of Management and regulators

Ability to work independently

Previous experience / comfort around working in in a global environment with dispersed teams across time zones

Familiarity with global liquidity management and risk management structures
