Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview*
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
CFO Change Automation team, which is part of CFO COO group involved in various analytics, automation and reporting and governance needs that help the CFO group analyze and address key challenges & provide relevant solutions using ET or any other relevant technologies. The team provides deep dive analysis by deploying analytics and data mining tools like SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva etc. as well as is involved in setting up automated solutions for complex BAU processes.
Job Description*
The Operational Excellence Program Lead is a senior member of the CFO Finance Innovation team, responsible for driving a consistent and standard Operational Excellence approach across all CFO Lines of Business. The role oversees the OpEx program and champions a culture of continuous improvement.
The individual manages the end-to-end idea lifecycle — from ideation through delivery and value realization.
Plans and drives the OpEx challenge event to surface, evaluate, and scale the best improvement ideas across the CFO organization.
Partnering with senior stakeholders in each CFO Line of Business, project managers, technology teams, and process owners, the role delivers complex, multi-faceted improvement and automation initiatives end-to-end,
Senior-level data, reporting, and executive materials.
Responsibilities*
Program Oversight & OpEx Challenge
Oversee the CFO-wide Operational Excellence program, driving a consistent and standard way of working across all CFO Lines of Business.
Plan and drive the OpEx challenge event — designing the format, mobilizing participation, curating submissions, and surfacing the best improvement ideas for scaling.
Manage the end-to-end idea lifecycle — capturing, triaging, prioritizing, and tracking ideas from intake through delivery and value realization.
Establish and maintain standard OpEx methods, tools, playbooks, and governance to embed a repeatable improvement culture.
Data, Reporting & Executive Materials
Own senior-level data and reporting for the OpEx program, producing accurate, insight-driven dashboards and metrics for executive and leadership consumption.
Contribute to benefits tracking and measurement of business outcomes including cycle time reduction, quality improvements, productivity gains, and control effectiveness.
Support development of business cases, value realization plans, and executive materials used for prioritization and funding decisions.
Deliver clear, compelling status reporting and executive updates to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Work with senior stakeholders in each CFO Line of Business to drive the Operational Excellence guidelines and secure buy-in and sponsorship.
Partner with project managers, technology teams, and process owners throughout design, testing, deployment, and adoption phases.
Assist with training, communications, adoption planning, and change management efforts to drive successful implementation.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to sustain engagement and momentum across the improvement community.
Delivery Management
Effectively manage the end-to-end delivery of automation projects and initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
Deliver complex, multi-faceted projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, controls, and measurable outcomes.
Provide governance, status reporting, and benefits tracking across the initiative portfolio.
Requirements*
Education*
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field)
Certifications If Any
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt / Black Belt) strongly preferred
Project / delivery management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile / Scrum) preferred
Certifications in data and reporting / visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx Advanced preferred
Certifications in automation / low-code tools (Microsoft Copilot, UiPath) a plus
Finance domain related training / certifications a plus
Experience Range*
12–18+ years of total experience (senior level)
5+ years leading Operational Excellence, process improvement, or transformation programs
3+ years delivering automation or digital transformation projects end-to-end
Proven experience producing senior / executive-level data, reporting, and dashboards
Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across global, cross-functional teams
Proven record of delivering complex, multi-faceted initiatives with measurable business outcomes
