This facility will offer 1,200 local new jobs and will be the first health manufacturing facility in Querétaro (pioneers for healthcare Hub).

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible, under general direction, for the execution of business operational excellence initiatives. The role leads strategic, process improvement projects in conjunction with site goals and imperatives for increasing revenue, capacity, optimizing cycle time, space utilization, reducing defect rates and improving customer satisfaction. The role is accountable for delivering tactical results from the application of Lean, OpEx/Continuous improvement, 6σ methodologies and effective change management.

Knowledge, Experience and Education:

• •Education: bachelor’s in science, Engineering, administration, or similar careers.
• •+5 Years of experience, preferred in medical devices, pharmaceutical, automotive, electronic industry.
• •Operational excellence/ lean concepts such as line balance, constraint theory, process flow map, continuous improvement tools (DMAIC, fishbone diagram, 5 Whys, etc.) Knowledge of standard regulations applicable to medical industry (ISO, FDA, etc.)., GMPs preferred.

Major Accountabilities

1.- Coordinate business unit overall layout administration including space utilization optimization analysis for the short and long term. May lead Site Master Plan and Layout Changes Control Forums intended to accomplish a strategic and tactic control of space and capacity utilization of the site and/or business unit

2.- Maintain, coordinate and/or calculate business unit direct labor needs to support year over year demands and to establish direct labor standards in coordination with the finance and operations teams.

3.- Leads, facilitate tactical process improvement projects in the business unit, delivering tactical results in conjunction with site goals and objectives.

4.- Evaluates business processes and determines initiatives that will yield greater productivity and efficiency to enable growth.

5.- Leads and/or projects using Lean, 6σ, CI, OpEx, or other tools estimating levels of effort and resource requirements and working with appropriate staff to understand scope

6.- May provide support and/or coordinate the implementation of 5s activities in manufacturing and or support areas.

7.- May support the development and maintenance of manufacturing systems intended to measure business unit key performance indicators (KPIs), and general platforms such Monthly Operations Review (MOR) and Management Operating Systems (MOS).

8.- Generate and share Projects Status reports as well as Support business unit KPIs monthly review helping the organization in consolidating the information to be presented and preparing management summaries
