Sr QA Analyst Encompass

We are looking for a UAT Facilitator with strong US Mortgage domain expertise to support business-led User Acceptance Testing across the mortgage technology ecosystem.

The role will work closely with Business SMEs, Change Management, QA, Product, and Technology teams to prepare UAT data, execute test scenarios, validate end-to-end business processes, and coordinate issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills: Mortgage UAT/Functional and Automation testing/ICE Encompass

Preferred Skills: Logan Connect and/or Optimal Blue

Key Responsibilities

• •Execute UAT test plans and scenarios based on defined mortgage business processes.
• •Work closely with Business and Change Management teams to coordinate UAT execution and business-user participation.
• •Create and prepare test loans and test data in Encompass to support UAT scenarios.
• •Move loans through the required loan lifecycle/statuses to enable downstream testing.
• •Validate business processes and expected outcomes across Encompass, Logan Connect, Optimal Blue, and related integrations.
• •Identify, document, and track defects/issues; coordinate with QA and Technology teams for resolution and retesting.
• •Differentiate between data issues, configuration issues, integration issues, and application defects.
• •Maintain UAT test data, scenarios, execution results, and defect status.
• •Provide regular updates on UAT progress, blockers, risks, and business-impacting issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• •5 10 years of experience in Mortgage UAT, Functional Testing, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
• •Strong understanding of the US Mortgage lifecycle and business processes.
• •Hands-on experience with ICE Encompass mandatory.
• •Experience with Logan Connect and/or Optimal Blue preferred.
• •Strong experience in UAT test execution and test-data preparation.
• •Ability to create/configure mortgage loans and move them through different loan statuses/stages in Encompass.
• •Experience working directly with Business SMEs and Change Management teams.
• •Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• •Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is desirable.
