AWS is looking for a specialist solutions architect for our AI/Agentic team, who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) helping customers design complex agentic AI solutions.

• Key job responsibilities
• As part of the team, you will work closely with Europe North customers across all industry verticals to enable large-scale AI use cases and drive the adoption of advanced AWS AI services, including foundation models, agent frameworks, and generative AI capabilities. You will interact with other Solution Architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements. Beyond building, you will also be responsible for creating and delivering original content representing AWS innovation — including white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations — to enable customers to fully leverage AWS's AI and agentic offerings.

Basic qualifications

• - 3+ years of experience architecting and deploying Generative AI/ML systems and platforms end-to-end.
• - Experience designing solutions with LLMs, including model selection, customization, and fine-tuning.
• - Proficiency with agentic AI patterns — including LLM-powered agents, function calling, orchestration frameworks, and tool integration.
• - Experience with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, embedding models, and retrieval optimization.
• - Understanding of ML fundamentals, including training/inference lifecycles and model optimization.
• - Experience in a customer-facing technical role, translating business requirements into scalable AI architectures.

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience with AWS AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Step Functions for agentic orchestration).
• - Hands-on experience building multi-agent systems, including agent-to-agent communication and autonomous task decomposition.
• - Experience with open-source agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• - Familiarity with responsible AI practices — guardrails, model evaluation, and bias mitigation.
• - Experience with vector databases and knowledge graphs for grounding AI systems.
• - Track record of producing technical content (blogs, reference architectures, workshops, conference presentations).
• - Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
