Staff Backend Engineer, Exposure Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer, Exposure Management based in Canada.

This is a senior backend engineering role providing technical leadership for the evolution of an attack surface management product into a next-generation Exposure Management platform. You will own technical direction across services while helping bridge complex legacy systems with a modern platform. The role combines hands-on backend development, distributed systems architecture, migration leadership, and cross-team technical alignment. You will build and scale real-time streaming services that leverage large datasets to help customers identify and reduce security exposures. You will also mentor engineers, strengthen engineering standards, and guide architectural decisions across the team.
