Staff Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt (Data Build Tool), and Data Modelling to join a high-performing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake as the enterprise data platform.
• •Build and manage robust data transformation frameworks using dbt .
• •Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• •Create and maintain logical and physical data models supporting analytics and reporting requirements.
• •Implement best practices for data quality, testing, governance, and documentation.
• •Optimize Snowflake performance, cost management, and query tuning.
• •Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, architects, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• •Develop reusable dbt models, macros, tests, and documentation.
• •Support data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.
• •Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards.

Mandatory Skills

• •Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• •Extensive experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) including model development, testing, snapshots, and incremental loading.
• •Strong expertise in Data Modelling (Dimensional, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
• •Experience building enterprise-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• •Advanced SQL development and performance tuning.
• •Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• •Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• •Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD processes.
