Verdantas is seeking a Staff Hydrogeologist I for our Toledo, Ohio, office.

What You'll Do:

• •Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater-related data; oversee soil vapor investigations
• •Analysis of basic hydrogeological data using various techniques
• •Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations
• •Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources
• •Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects
• •Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
• •Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects

What You Bring:

• •Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
• •0-3 years of experience
• •Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations
• •Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration
• •Generally work in both office and field settings
• •May require frequent travel to various field sites
• •May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rough terrain
• •May involve occasional lifting of equipment and materials

Salary Range:

$54,000.00 - $62,000.00
